Memorial Day weekend is upon us. There will be so much going on in Wyoming; which direction do you want to go?

A rodeo in the air? ONLY IN WYOMING!

Let's take to the skies with the best pilots we can find and ride those airplanes like a cowboy rides a bull. But inside the airplane, not on top.

The first-ever Torrington Tailslide AcroRodeo was held May 17, 2025, at the Torrington Wyoming Airport. It drew an unprecedented crowd and showcased thrilling aerobatic talent from around the globe.

CAM-PLEX Energy Downs: Head to Gillette, Wyoming, and spend the afternoon watching live horse racing. The track hosts a major Memorial Monday race card with gates opening early in the afternoon, offering concessions and betting. Ranch Sorting: The CAM-PLEX frequently hosts the Thar's Ranch Sorting Memorial Weekend event featuring multiple days of equestrian sorting competitions.

Wyoming’s premier Memorial Day weekend event is Old West Days in Jackson Hole, running through the end of May. This massive 10-day celebration features the famous Elk Antler Auction, a High Noon Chili Cookoff, the Best of the West Parade, the Mountain Man Rendezvous, and the kick-off to the summer rodeo season.

Cheyenne Gaming Convention (CGC): Taking place at the Red Lion Hotel and Convention Center, this massive regional gaming event spans over 500 board game titles, a 100-player Dungeons & Dragons campaign, and multiple card game tournaments. Day and weekend passes are available.

That's a good start. Look for local events across Wyoming. Something is happening near you.

We celebrate Memorial Day to honor and mourn the U.S. military personnel who died in the line of duty. Observed annually on the last Monday of May, it was established to remember the ultimate sacrifices made by the men and women who served in the Armed Forces.

2nd Annual Cheyenne Air Show Was AMAIZING!

The event aimed to spark interest in aviation and highlight the need for pilots, featuring aerial performances and aviation displays.

WOW, what a show it was.

The point of these airshows is to help bring Cheyenne's old terminal back as something new. It might take about $10 million to do it.

Imagine it having a restaurant, retail stores, and a place for private pilots to visit from around the country.
