First, he was the youngest man to fly, solo, around the world.

Then his YouTube page about aviation and his flying adventures shot to fame.

Then he moved to Wyoming where he bought a house in a neighborhood built around an airport.

So, what next for Matt Guthmiller?

How about buying a jet fighter trainer?

Yeah, that sounds like fun.

Matt is now flying an Aero L-39 Albatros is a high-performance jet trainer designed and produced in Czechoslovakia by Aero Vodochody.

It is the most widely used jet trainer in the world.

The plane is so good it has also flown combat missions in a light-attack role.

The videos in the post are just some of the fun Matt has had as learned to fly the plane, then took it back to his home in Wyoming where he had to figure out how to park it in his hanger, which is also his house, next to his other plane.

In the first video I've left for you, above, Matt finds that this winter has been far too snowy to keep the jet in Wyoming.

So he flies it from his neighborhood of Alpine to keep the jet here all winter.

The shuffling of airplanes to make room causes them to take 4 airplanes to move it to Salt Lake. L-39

This might have also been his first solo flight in a two-seater jet.

Now let's up the game, again.

In the video below Matt flies with the commander of TOP GUN!

No, his call sign is not MAVERICK!

Still, what an experience! Matt learns a lot from a world master of the jet flying craft. You can't get better lessons than this.

Let's back up.

Who is this guy?

Matt Guthmiller was the youngest pilot to fly solo around the world.

He continues to fly today, taking his YouTube audience on amazing adventures with 197 thousand of subscribers to his page.

Matt has chosen to live in Wyoming in an airport community on the western side of the state.

Born in Aberdeen South Dakota, Matt Guthmiller has always wanted to fly. Now that dream is part of his everyday life. Matt received his private pilot certificate on his 17th birthday, has gone on to earn his commercial pilot certificate and numerous ratings, has flown dozens of aircraft, and logged more than 2700 hours in the air (500 when he started the trip).

On May 31, 2014, Matt set out on a 44.5-day trip of over 30,000 miles in an attempt to become the youngest person to ever circumnavigate the globe on a solo flight.

MIT Student To Become Youngest Person To Fly Around World Solo: the rising MIT sophomore will to take off from San Diego, California, in a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza and head east — and then keep going. He'll make stops along the way, but his goal is to become the youngest person to fly solo around the world. (WBUR BOSTON).

What does a young man do after he's flown around the globe, solo?

He now owns this beautiful home in a community built for flyers around this airport called Alpine Park Wyoming.

This means those of us who follow his adventures get to see more Western and Teton flying.

That is about as beautiful as it gets.

In this next video, he takes one of his pilot neighbors for a flight around western Wyoming just for the flight of two private pilots flying over western Wyoming. Do you need any other excuse?

Matt's Youtube page is well worth subscribing to and exploring.

It is filled with flying adventures and interesting places that he has gone to that you might have never seen.

"Now, I'm sharing all kinds of aviation adventures with you! Ride along as we explore the world from the air and get a close-up look at some of aviation's best flight experiences and destinations," says Matt.
