Wyoming became a state in 1890, then completely vanished into thin air.

That's how this video begins.

Much of what is said about Wyoming is not necessarily wrong. It's more like an over-the-top and exaggerated view of someplace most Americans never think of.

It's got the smallest population of any state. Fewer people (in the entire state) than most suburbs, and yet more elk than people.

Cheyenne, the capital. It's like someone built a wild west movie set, didn't finish it, and just rolled with it.

You can watch this entire Wyoming breakdown in the video below.

Jackson Hole. Beautiful, yes, but mostly just billionaires in cowboy boots pretending that they understand mountain culture.

So far, I'd say that none of this is wrong.

But most of us have never thought of Wyoming using these words.

And what's in the rest of Wyoming? Mountains, silence, and a hole lot of don't tred on me bumper stickers.

Wyoming has a lot more going on than that, but I can see how someone who is new here might think Wyoming is just empty nothingness.

This is the only state where the wind has a personality trait.

Okay, that last one is TRUE!

The last few things said about Wyoming in this video are complementary.

Let's face it, if you were to visit a place that you have never been, you leave not understanding what they are all about, you might want to make a video just like this one.

Honestly, we here in Wyoming don't care if you don't get us.

We are fine being who we are.

Wyoming's Ceepiest Pet Cemetery

The writing on the stones shows that these people loved their pets so much that they wanted to take special care of them when they died.

Yet, approaching this place looks like something out of a Stephen King novel.
