Wyoming Residents Turn Down Free Vacation To LA
WARNING: Do not read this article if you don't understand satire.
After this weekend's riots in LA, we decided to sit down with some Wyoming residents over a cup of coffee to see if they could think of any reason to leave Wyoming and move there or maybe just visit LA for a quick vacation.
Well, said Earl, I hear the weather is nice, once the smoke clears from those mismanaged fires and all those tires and cars burning.
That raised questions as to whether they are really environmentally conscious when they are always setting tires and cars on fire.
I looked into how much hotels are in LA, said Margret. But all of the hotels have been given to illegal immigrants and homeless people, so I would have nowhere to stay.
I asked if any of them had ever experienced a traffic jam.
OH HECK YES, said Byron. Wh,y just the other day I got caught behind a cattle drive on county road 215. They need to put some more gravel down. It's getting rutty.
Had any of them ever been mugged?
They all laughed and showed me their guns.
Okay, so since they could not think of any reason to vacation in LA, how about visiting or moving to any part of California?
Colorado is as close as I ever want to get to California, said Ryan. And I never go down to Colorado anymore.
I saw those riots on TV, said Margret. I turned it off. That's all the sightseeing I want to do.
I just looked it up, and it costs more to visit LA for a week than I spend living in Wyoming in a year. I think I'll just stay here.
What if we gave you a vacation there, all expenses paid?
All of our guests said NOPE!
