The YouTube page is called Travel with a Wiseguy. The host has been doing a series called Small Town Downtown. In this video, which you can watch below, he travels to 11 small Wyoming towns, showing what they look like today and explaining their history.

The towns covered in this video are Lovell, Cowley, Powell, Greybull, Worland, Thermopolis, Kemmerer, Chugwater, Wheatland, Guernesy, and Douglas.

He said that his favorite little town in Wyoming was Kemmerer. He enjoyed looking at the original JCPenney store and the triangle-shaped downtown.

Most travelers make the mistake of driving slowly through a small town and calling it good without ever stopping to find out why people live there or why the town is there in the first place. They are missing a lot.

Watch the full video below.

Pulling into shops like the Chugwater Soda Fountain or the Tri-County Mercantile. There is a chance to learn about the locals and the history of the town.

Let's take a look at other small towns worth visiting if you are wondering where to visit and what to see.
