Laramie Live had an opportunity to speak with Yana Ludwig, who is running for the US Senate to represent Wyoming.

Her interview can be listened to below:

On her website, Ludwig states the following:

"We are a campaign to build a solidarity movement within Wyoming.

Wyoming is many groups of people: women, working class and poor people, people of color, LGBTQ folks, indigenous people, people with disabilities, and immigrants. We are hunters and geeks, students and elders, religious and secular. Yet, we all have the same core needs for economic security, respect, and access to basic services like healthcare and education; we all deserve our full rights and recognition. Wyoming’s young people deserve a viable future and a stable climate, and our economic system and ecological practices need a massive overhaul in order for those to be possible.

Yes, this IS a US Senate race and we are in this to win, but it is much more than that. This is a campaign we can’t lose, because regardless of Yana Ludwig’s vote counts, we are building community and power."
