Hit Show ‘Yellowstone’ Is Coming To An END!
Rumors abound.
Negotiations are underway.
But it looks like the hit TV series Yellowstone will soon be coming to an end.
Taylor Sheridan along with Paramount Global and Paramount Network are making movies to end the show as you currently see it.
But they are plotting a potential franchise extension staring Matthew McConaughey.
Talks are ongoing now.
Some of the current cast might move to the now show that would star McConaughey.
“We have no news to report. Kevin Costner is a big part of Yellowstone and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come. Thanks to the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, we are always working on franchise expansions of this incredible world he has built. Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent with whom we’d love to partner,” a Paramount Network spokesperson told Deadline.
What has been heard, so far, is that the current Yellowstone series had disagreements over shooting schedules. Who knows what that really means?
Paramount Network has declined Costner’s most recent proposal and instead has made the decision to move on to the other show. (Deadline).
No word yet on if the McConaughey-fronted show will take place on the Dutton ranch in Montana or elsewhere.
They really should bring it to Wyoming. That's where most of Yellowstone really is.
It is possible that Yellowstone will end in the second half of the current season.
Other spinoff series are already running.
Television shows do not have a great history of spinoffs lasting too long. Not that it hasn't happened, but it's rare.
