Not everyone is in shape to climb to the top of Wyoming's Teton Mountains.

Not everyone has the nerve.

But we would all like to see that is up there.

Well - FINE - book a helicopter ride.

Just like Hawaii has some of the most beautiful helicopter rides on Earth so does Wyoming.

Leave the driving to the expert, you just say things like "WOW" and "OHH" and "AHH" and enjoy the ride.

By how you're wondering HOW and HOW MUCH!

HOW?

One place I found was TETON HELECOPTERS.

They don't just take people to the tops of the mountains.

There is a lot more than that to see in the area.

Let's not forget the mountains to the east and Yellowstone to the north.

There are several companies giving tours, so if one is all booked up just call the others.

Wind River Air books tours that can last anywhere from a half hour to over an hour.

There are more, just use your search engine for helicopter tours, Jackson Wyoming, or Tetons.

Look for tours that offer wildlife viewing and photography tours for those who love taking pictures.

HOW MUCH?

That varies depending on the duration, customization options, and the tour operator.

Prices typically range from a few hundred dollars for a short scenic flight to over a thousand dollars for longer, more customized tours.

It’s recommended to check with the specific tour operator for accurate and up-to-date pricing information.

This is a trip you'll be talking about for the rest of your life.

Book well in advance. Chances are you won't be able to just show up and get a flight.

Devils Tower As Seen From The Mother Ship

If you've see the movie (documentary) Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, then you know what it looked like to see "The Mother Ship" descending down to Devils Tower.

But what did it look like from the Mother Ship's point of view?

We don't have any actual photos from the Mother Ship

So we recreated the scene using Google Earth and one Nasa Photo.
