In our first model, we have taken an existing camper top and improved it with extensions and solar panels.

Sure it looks like there is still a little work to go on this thing but progress has been made.

That big overhang on the front will keep the sun out of your eyes while you're driving, that's for sure.

Chances are, everything you see here came from a junkyard.

That junkyard was probably the front yard of this guy's house.

One day he was sitting outside looking at his collection of trash and realized, 'HEY! I have a camper here. Some assembly required.'

If he ever gets kicked out of the trailer park, he can just live here in his DYI Redneck camper.

Got two bros and not enough room in the camper. These guys in the video below just added a second floor. It was easy.

For the record, if you find a great deal on a topper, make sure it fits before you buy it.

If it doesn't fit, just strap the hell out of it.

What could go wrong?

I'm sure the cops won't stop you from putting anyone on the highway in danger.

YUP, just stick 'er up there and... whatever.

If you don't have a pickup, try a van.

If the van is not big enough then build out some more space.
