When someone tells you who they are, you should believe them. (Wyoming congresswoman Harriet Hageman).

Hagemen's comment comes in response to Rep. Katherine Clark of Massachusetts, who decided to be blunt about why the Democrats are pushing the shutdown. And she's fully aware of the costs.

"Of course, there will be families that are going to suffer...but it is one of the few leverage times we have!" (Rep. Katherine Clark, D-Mass).

Those comments caused outrage among republicans who point to this as proof that the democrats are using the American people and creating a crisis for political leverage.

Hageman responded during an interview on the Just The News podcast, where she outlined what the Democrats have been saying during the Federal Government shutdown and why they have been saying these things.

Many of the cuts made by DOGE are among the list of demands made by democrats for them to agree to reopen the government.

Hageman pointed to the 1.5 trillion in additional spending the democrats have demanded, which includes giving healthcare to illegal aliens, which the Trump administration had put an end to. Refunding the wasteful spending found in USAID and refunding NPR and PBS, to name a few.

Wyoming Senator Barasso had made similar comments to Rep. Katherine Clark, D-Mass comments on the floor of the Senate.

I voted to fund the government at the exact same level we were funding it a year ago. (Hageman).

She went on to say that she thinks spending is out of control and way too high, but she voted to keep the government open while those issues are negotiated.

Wyoming's Ceepiest Pet Cemetery

The writing on the stones shows that these people loved their pets so much that they wanted to take special care of them when they died.

Yet, approaching this place looks like something out of a Stephen King novel.
