Cheyenne's protector, The Green Knight.

Guardian of the daytime, but not direct sunlight.

Let's face it, it gets hot in that helmet.

The Green Knight was spotted outside of the Smoker Friendly, helping little old ladies get across the parking lot for their Kool 100s!

Bad guys beware, The Green Knight has his visor on you!

No one knows who is under that visor.

Some say he's a ghost. Some say he's half man half D&D dungeon master.

Whoever you are, thank you, Green Knight!

Thank you for protecting us!

So - here is what really happened.

While walking into the Smoker Friendly shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming we saw this guy walking out.

You just don't see that every day.

Wyoming artists and photo Photo by Tim Mandese, of Focus West Photography, went after him, asking if he could get a picture.

The knight was happy to oblige.

Temperatures were in the low 70s at that time.

There is no way we would have seen this guy in the middle of this summer.

So, why was he dressed as a knight and just walking around town?

It's kind of hard to hear the answer when his voice is muffled by all that metal.

Personally, I like to think that he just woke up this morning and decided to wear his armor.

I mean, why the hell not?

Most people you see dressing like this have made their armor at home with their own two hands. They are historians and hobbyists.

Is this how he got his armor?

We have no idea. Still could not understand him through that helmet.
