  • Luke Pearson
  • Hunter Pickett
  • Everett Roberson

According to a post on Casper Nordic Club's Facebook page, they are raising money to help cover the cost of the trip.

Congratulations to our local highschool skiers that qualified for Junior Nationals that will be held in Lake Placid March 11-16.
They are out fundraising locally and have also created a GoFundMe account. If your able please help them out.

Thank you.

Over 500 kids between 15 and 19 will compete for a week in New York. The GoFundMe page says it's not cheap for these kids to participate, and your help is needed.

The cost of attending this national competition is $5,000 per skier for transportation, lodging, meals, race fees, coaching, and equipment. If you would like to support these skiers in their efforts to attend the 2024 US Ski and Snowboard Cross Country Junior National Championship, please consider making donations to the Casper Nordic skiers of High Plains Nordic Ski Team.

If you decide to help, you're not just allowing the team to compete but helping inspire future skiers.

These hard-working student skiers are very grateful for the wonderful support of the Casper Community. Thank you for considering donating, it will not only allow our team to attend this prestigious event; it will inspire our up-and-coming skiers and continue to build on our great Casper Nordic skiing tradition.
