The Wyoming Department of Transportation announced earlier this morning (Thursday, October 31st, 2024), that Casper Mountain Road is temporarily closed.

Earlier this year, an announcement was made that all Natrona County campgrounds on Casper Mountain would be closed for the 2024 season due to road construction in the area. Now that the road construction has been completed ahead of schedule, two campgrounds will be open on Casper Mountain for the 2024 fall season.

There is a common saying that says "don't believe everything you see on the internet." It seems that now is a good time remind folks of that statement.
