With the announcement this week that 2025 will be the final Chris LeDoux Days in Kaycee, Wyoming, you won't miss out on getting your wristbands and checking out the event.

One of the highlights will be the Saturday night concert featuring Sawyer Brown, Kip Attaway, and Chris' son Ned LeDoux. Ned has performed many times at the summer festival, but this year will be even more special since Ned has new music for you to sample.

He has a new album coming out this year, 'Safe Haven,' which will be released on April 4th, and a summer full of concerts is on the horizon.

Ned's first song from the new album is "Real As I Believe."

From the onset of “Real As I Believe,” a shimmering string pad and heavenly piano playing set the stage for LeDoux’s earnest and powerful delivery. “When I’m gone, and they lay me down / It’ll only be my body in the ground / They’ll be no need to cry a tear for me if heaven is as real as I believe,” he sings in the opening line. The song takes a very personal turn for LeDoux in the second verse: “And I’ll see my daughter / You know it’s true / And she’ll catch me up on all the things she’s up to / We’ll skip stones across an endless sea if heaven is as real as I believe.” Tearjerking and hopeful, LeDoux’s latest is a living testament to his ability to find joy and positivity in hard times instead of drowning in sorrow.

I hear, "Wow, he reminds me of his dad. " If you've listened to Ned's music, you'll say that too.

Not long ago, he released the song "One Hand in the Riggin'," which was made into a duet with his dad. You can tell they're cut from the same cloth.

Anytime a LeDoux puts out new music, I'm all for it. Check out the lyric video to "Real as I Believe" below, and follow Ned on social media for more information on music releases, concerts, and more.
