This Colorado-Exclusive Whiskey Might Surprise You

If you know me, you know that I am a huge fan of whiskey and bourbon. I have all different types from all over the place, some with distinct features, while others may be extremely hard to find.

To me, it is like tasting history in a glass. The spirit is aged in charred oak barrels and left to rest for months and even sometimes, a decade or more. One of my most coveted bottles of bourbon is a Knob Creek Single Barrel Select bottle.

This bottle is special to me because it was bottled on my wife's birthday the year before we started our relationship. It was then aged for nearly 15 years before it was put on the shelf in a liquor store in Northern Colorado.
