The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding whoever stole 2,000 feet of copper wire from a construction site north of Cheyenne.

According to Public Information Officer Brandon Warner, the incident occurred in the 3700 block of Interstate 25 Service Road, near the Ridley Road exit.

"Between Oct. 10-11, a container was broken into and 2,000 feet of #4 copper wire was stolen," said Warner.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at 307-638-TIPS or visit silentwitnesslaramiecounty.com.

Informants will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
