
2 Dead Following Head-On Collision South of Gillette
Two Wyoming residents are dead following a head-on collision south of Gillette, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
According to a fatality crash summary, the collision happened around 4:55 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, near mile marker 93.3 on Wyoming 59, between Gillette and Wright.
The summary says a Dodge Caravan was northbound when it drifted over the centerline and collided head-on with a GMC Sierra.
Despite being buckled up, the collision left both drivers, 42-year-old Luis Castaneda and 23-year-old Zebulon Goodrich, dead.
