The Laramie County Republican Party has chosen three names to submit to the Laramie County Commission to fill an open seat on the commission.

The three candidates chosen by county Republicans are Ben Sherman, Brian Lovett, and Bob Budd, according to the Laramie County Republican Party Facebook page.

Those three were chosen from a field of 15 applicants, including former commissioner M. Lee Hasenauer and Cheyenne City Councilman Bryan Cook, among others. The commission will choose one of the trio to replace Amber Ash, who recently resigned from the commission to take a position as director of the Cheyenne Downtown Development Authority.
