Liz Cheney Says She’ll Vote For Kamala Harris

Former Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney was considered the most conservative member of Congress, while she served in the U.S. House Of Representatives.

But the events in the U.S. Capital of January 6th, 2021, caused her to go on the offensive against Donald Trump.

She went so far as to serve as vice chair on the United States House Select Committee on the Jan. 6 Attack, investigating Trump’s role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

Her goal had become to keep Donald Trump out of the Whitehouse at all costs.

That includes voting for one of the most liberal candidates to ever run for President, Kamala Harris.

Republicans have trouble understanding how someone who has been so conservative could vote for Harris, and still call herself a conservative. They see Harris as the true threat to the Constitution.

While speaking in North Carolina, Cheney said that just writing in candidates other than Trump was not an option in swing states. Those few states that could decide the outcome of the election.

“As a conservative, as someone who believes in and cares about the Constitution, I have thought deeply about this, and because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris,” Cheney said.

The New York Times reported that the room full of people that she was speaking to erupted in cheers.

The Times reported that the Harris campaign has been courting Cheney’s endorsement.

From 2017 to 2021, Cheney voted in line with Trump's position around 93% of the time, supporting him more consistently in House votes than many House Republican members.

Cheney now travels as a public speaker under the banner of her Website "Our Great Task."

Republicans, Democrats, Independents must work together to ensure Donald Trump and those who have enabled him are defeated at the ballot box. This is the cause of our time.
