Rain is expected to make a much-needed return to southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle next week, some good news for crews battling wildfires.

Casper Mountain is currently in the midst of what looks to be a small mudslide.

Brief heavy downpours in some areas will be possible along with lightning, and wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph.

In the video, you can see pretty much all of the elements happening at exactly the same time: rain, snow, hail, sunshine, rainbows, etc. The only thing missing is construction but we're sure there's some of that up the road a little bit.

Enjoy the nice weather while it lasts, because parts of southeast Wyoming could see another wintry mix of rain and snow come Monday evening.

Tuesday's storm brought record rain to parts of southeast Wyoming, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.

Light rain/snow is forecast to arrive in southeast Wyoming late this morning and stick around through the evening before possibly returning again on Monday.

This is how mother nature tries to sucker us in.

This weekend's weather will be a far cry from today's record high temperatures.

It is the best we have had in a long time.
