Slow down and use caution while traveling Highway 14. For the latest

Maybe conditions will improve this Memorial Day weekend for those who hope to take a 3-day trip up there.
This isn't bad news. We need the moisture. White mountains this time of year are a good thing.
The Bighorns were a little dry this winter, though there was a little too much snow to the west.
Don't worry, summer will happen.
Until then, let it rain and let it snow.
It's a big surprise to most people but the Western states get most of their water in the spring, not during the winter.
That water has to hold the region through the hot, dry summer months.
Did you know that folks are still skiing in Colorado?
The snow in those mountains has not stopped and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
