The gripping first episode of "Guy on a Buffalo." The "guy" battles a bear and a mean-spirited Indian (Native American). Original music and narration by Jomo, of Austin-based band The Possum Posse.

The singer of the song, it seems, found a few videos of a guy riding on a buffalo and just started making up words to what the ridder was doing. This video is so weird it's worth watching more than once.

For some reason, we are focusing all this week on people ridding buffalos. I have no idea why, and I'm the guy writing these posts.

After some success with the guy on the buffalo video, the band decided to go out looking for where the video came from and why this guy was riding a buffalo in this manner. You can watch several episodes on their YouTube page as they search for The Guy On A Buffalo.

Tourists in Wyoming can't seem to get along with the mighty beast. But people out here in Wyoming just saddle them up and take them for a ride? Now, why do you think that is?

Tourists visiting Wyoming get mauled by buffalo every year. So why is it so easy to ride them? This week we are looking at people who have successfully ridden buffalo and the big beast does not seem to mind.

Buffalo usually injure 3 to 4 people a year while bears only injure 1 person a year.

Do buffalo just hate tourists?
