Hageman Endorses Jim Jordan for Speaker of House

Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) spoke on a Breitbart News podcast on Saturday where she said she is backing Rep. Jim Jordan’s (R-OH) bid for Speaker of the House.

She sees Mr. Jordan as “laser-focused” on pushing and concluding the investigations needed to take back America’s government.

Hageman said she was “proud” to endorse Jordan’s bid for Speaker.

She has worked with him on the Judiciary and Weaponization Committee’s investigations into the Biden administration’s 'weaponization of the federal government.'

She said their work at the Judiciary and Weaponization Committees have exposed many “violations” of Americans’ First Amendment rights as well as Attorney General Merrick Garland and the corruption of the Biden family.

She said Jordan is,

absolutely laser-focused on all of those things and they all relate to us being able to take our government back.

The Congresswoman did not join her fellow Freedom Caucus members in voting to oust House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a fellow Republican.

'There are far too many pressing concerns facing this nation for Congress to be pulled into such a self-serving stunt as one member is selfishly trying to torpedo the business of the House,' Hageman said in a prepared statement.

But since the vote to oust the speak had occurred, and the house needed a new speaker before it could conduct any business, the congresswoman has chosen to move on with the next choice.

Until a new speaker is chosen the U.S. House is in a type of hibernation mode.

Nothing can be brought to the floor of the house for a vote without a speaker overseeing the process.
