If you watch closely you will see that those screaming about tolerance in America are the least tolerant among us.

The "Cancel Culture" is currently getting their way in the name of diversity, inclusivity, and tolerance. Yet, it is an oxymoron. The very idea of canceling anything shows that they have no tolerance for diversity or inclusion.

But I know of one state that, while not perfect, is about the best place to be when it comes to live and let live.

No matter where you might roam, you will always find the occasional idiot who mouths off intolerant garbage, but I honestly hear and see it far less in Wyoming compared to those states that talk about it most.

Out here people just don't care what other folks are doing with their lives. It is a true live and let live mentality.

Read any book you want. No one will tell you that you can't.

Watch any TV show or movie you like. It's your business.

No one will try to cancel those programs, movies or books because they deem them to be offensive. What you consume is your choice.

Your friends and neighbors might not agree with your choices, but they will agree that those choices are yours to make.

I have been in Wyoming for over 10 years now and in all that time I find that people only worry about a few basic things:

1) Live each day with courage.
2) Take pride in your work.
3) Always finish what you start.
4) Do what has to be done.
5) Be tough, but fair.
6) When you make a promise, keep it.
7) Ride for the brand.
8) Talk less and say more.
9) Remember that some things aren't for sale.
10) Know where to draw the line.

In Wyoming, you can be as eccentric as you wish, if you wish. There is plenty of that in these parts. People are used to it.

In Wyoming, you can be who you wish and do what you want, without getting canceled.
