Natrona County’s Ashlyn Hodge will further her softball career after signing to play at Lamar Community College in Colorado. Hodge was a four-year varsity player and pitcher for the Fillies. She earned second-team all-conference honors in the 2025 season. Ashlyn helped NC reach the state tournament over the last two years. The Fillies placed fourth at the 2025 state championships. Hodge also assisted NC to back-to-back wins in the Diamond Ball Classic against rival Kelly Walsh.

Hodge had a .438 batting average with 46 total hits and 37 RBIs during her senior season. She smacked 14 doubles, five triples, and three home runs. Hodge scored 34 runs, drew 12 walks, and had only seven strikeouts. In the circle, she had a 15-strikeout performance in one game against Jackson. Overall, she finished with 54 strikeouts. Hodge allowed 122 runs on 113 hits and a 10.01 ERA. The Fillies finished at 16-16 in the 2025 season.

As a junior in 2024, Hodge had a .346 batting average with nine hits and 10 RBIs. She scored 11 runs, drew 16 walks, and had only four strikeouts. In the circle, she gave up 77 runs on 127 hits. Ashlyn had a 7.493 ERA with 52 strikeouts and 43 walks.

Hodge graduated with a 3.76 GPA from NCHS. She was a member of the National Honor Society. Ashlyn plans to major in early childhood education.

Lamar Community College is in Lamar, CO. The Runnin’ Lopes compete at the NJCAA Division I level and are in Region IX.
