A 41-year-old Wyoming man is dead after rolling his car near Green River, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.

It happened around 6:22 p.m. on the Fourth of July near mile marker 9 on Wyoming 530, about six miles south of Green River.

According to a fatality crash summary, Thomas Huntington was behind the wheel of a southbound Buick LaCrosse when he went off the right shoulder.

"The vehicle then re-entered the roadway and rolled approximately twice before coming to rest in the northbound lane of travel," the summary reads.

Huntington was not wearing his seat belt and died from his injuries.

The summary does not list any possible contributing factors.

Huntington is the 47th reported person to die on Wyoming's highways so far this year.
