2nd Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

Don't be scared if you see a heavy presence of first responders and military vehicles in Holliday Park this Halloween.

During the exercise, residents may notice an increased presence of emergency response personnel, military vehicles, and aircraft in certain areas.

All city operations, including trash collection and transit services, are currently open for regularly scheduled business today, Wednesday.

If you see flashing lights and think emergency responders have closed the road, find an another way around the road closure.

Casper Police Officers and other first responders have arrived at the scene of a reported pedestrian vs vehicle collision, which occurred at the intersection of 2nd Street and Beverly Street in Casper.

While first responders handled a car accident at the intersection of Wolcott and Collins, a separate individual drove up to the scene and told officers he was suffering from a possible heart attack.

"ACO McCrary applied a tourniquet and bandages to the male, which was later credited with saving his life by the attending surgeons," a post from the Glenrock Police Department stated.

The Natrona County Sheriff's Office, as well as the Casper Mountain Fire District responded to a Search and Rescue call on Thursday regarding two hikers who got lost on Casper Mountain.
