Video Shows Why Drifting Snow Causes Major Road Issues In Wyoming
Winter has hit early and hit hard this year.
The entire state was shut down for days at a time this last weekend, and I'm sure we have a few more months weeks days like that ahead of us.
Reed Timmer is an infamous meteorologist and storm chaser, most popularly known from the Discovery Channel show "Storm Chasers"
His YouTube channel has almost 300k followers. Earlier this year he shared a video earlier that explains why drifting snow causes so many major road issues in Wyoming.
I think every single one of us can relate to what Timmer describes in this video...after all this scene looks like all of our driveways right now.
Also, for an extra bit of fun look at all the comments complaining about the wind sounds.
After yet another person complained about the wind and asked why Timmer didn't use a noise-canceling mic, one of Timmer's loyal fans came to his defense.
When the winds are that ferocious no amount of noise cancelling will work, unless he does not say a word. THAT is how wind works. People need to EXPERIENCE it, not just sit in their little rooms and not experience what real LIFE is like.
Anyone else nodding along with me?
Stay safe and warm out there everyone, and a big thank you to all of our first responders and plow drivers working 24/7 to keep us safe.
