Thankfully, those Wyoming locations were not touched.
But with the sudden and unannounced closures of several locations across the country, local employees are worried and wondering if they should start looking for other work.
The contents of nearly 50 Red Lobsters in 21 states were being auctioned off Monday by RestaurantEquipment.bid, according to an email from the liquidator, which called it "the largest restaurant equipment auction ever. (Restaurant Business Magazine).
Colorado lost 4 locations overnight
Other states losing the restaurant are Newport News, Virginia, Salina, Kansas to San Diego, Orlando where the chain is based, and many more.
Closures were sudden and unexpected, with employees showing up to work and finding they were out of a job.
The chain had 649 struggling locations.
As the chain bled money some partners pulled their funding out, leaving the company cash-strapped.
The company hired restructuring expert Jonathan Tibus as CEO, its fourth in three years.
Bloomberg Financial News reported that the new CEO was considering a bankruptcy filing to restructure its debt.
Now we wait and see.

Can the company pull out of its financial downfall?
This chain has been around for a long time, but the restaurant business is one of the toughest to survive in.
