Gas prices are still higher than they should be, but they have started to ebb.

The average Wyoming gasoline price is down 7.8 cents per gallon from last week.

Your local price will vary, but the average is currently $3.43 a gallon according to GasBuddy.

That's not far off from the national average of $3.39.

The price of diesel dropped 6.6 cents to $4.38 per gallon.

Overall Wyoming prices are now 29.3 cents per gallon lower than one month ago.

The lowest price in Wyoming, as of the writing of this article, is  $2.79 a gallon.

The highest price in the state is $4.49 a gallon. That's much higher than the national average.

So, don't buy in Jackson.

“For the seventh straight week, we’ve seen the national average price of gasoline decline.

With cooler weather comes cooler gasoline prices, and as we inch closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, prices will continue to fall virtually coast to coast.

Eight states are now seeing average gas prices below $3 per gallon,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.

“While the national average is now at its lowest since March, the decline is likely to continue for at least another couple of weeks, with California likely soon falling below $5, while more states fall under $3.

Millions of Americans already have access to $2.99/gal or cheaper, and I expect that number to continue to grow this week.”

Take advantage of these prices while you can.

As you will see in the video below there are a lot of factors that might just spike these prices.

There are economic factors from war in the Middle East to problems with the American trucking industry and intrusive rule-making from the Biden administration that could shoot those prices up (way up) overnight.
