Wyoming’s Easter Weekend Forecast Was NOT An April Fool’s Joke

When I asked Wyoming weather forecaster Don Day, of Day Weather, what the weather was going to be like for Easter weekend, I was not sure that he was telling the truth. I had asked him on April 1st after all.

But after April 1st and he had not changed his predictions. What are we supped to think now?

The overall forecast for the state of Wyoming for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, is upper 60's to low 70's. A light breeze for half the state. Calm winds for the other half.

So, you can see why I thought he was pranking us when he told me how nice it was going to be, and the date was April 1st.

Well, if it's going to be that nice this weekend then was must be in for another blizzard next week, right? NOT AT ALL?

I'm not sure what's going on there but next week Wyoming will be in the 50's and 60's with partly cloudy skies. Even the winds will stay down to just a nice breeze.

At some point people will start sticking their heads outside wondering if this is another sucker hole in the weather, or can they finally stray farther from home than the mail box before the next big one comes rolling in.

I think you can go outside for the next week and feel safe about it. GO FOR IT!

I'll have to let Don Day know that he might need to find a way to show he is not fooling when he gives his April Fool's forecast. He really had me going there.
