You Can Still Register To Vote In Wyoming Up To Election Day
I want to correct a little confusion caused by my story regarding voter registration in Wyoming.
The article I published gave some folks the impression that the 15th was the deadline day for registering to vote, period.
That is not the case.
YES, you can still register to vote right up to election day
What you can't do is switch parties, vote, then switch back.
I received this note from the registration office in Laramie.

May 15th date only pertains to people that are registered by today, you can’t change your party but someone who just moved here can change their party.
Crossover voting in Wyoming involves voters from other parties, like Democrat, Libertarian, or Constitution party, crossing over to vote in the Republican primary and then crossing back to their own party for the general election.
The Wyoming voter purge process
This process clears the voter rolls of people who have died or moved to another state. So if you didn't vote in the 2022 general election, your name would be on the purge Look for a postcard from our office stating that you did not vote in the 2022 election. But even if you don't get a postcard it's a good idea to check to ensure you are registered.
Absentee voting
In the past absentee voting started 45 days prior to every election. But now you only have 28 days. So get on the list to get that absentee ballot.
