There are many good, independent YouTube pages where travellers show the best places to explore.

The YouTube page Grand Adventure decided to take a look at the best places to RV camp in Wyoming's Big Horn Mountains.

Our boondocking campsite at 7,900 feet in Wyoming's Bighorn Mountains may be the prettiest place we've camped in a good long time! Views include the central spine of the Bighorns, from 11,722-foot Loaf Mountain to 13,167-foot Cloud Peak, just off the Cloud Peak Skyway.

While camping here we go hiking with ‪@RoamingWithRosie‬ , visit the town of Buffalo, enjoy an evening at the historic Occidental Hotel, and share our thoughts on campers who disregard Bighorn National Forest's 14-day dispersed camping limit.

Much of the video will show you the beauty of these mountains with inspiring music playing behind it.

Our host then goes into where he is camping and how you can get there.

Some RV camping sites are actually free, although you'll have to pack in everything you need. But that's what an RV is for.

The Bighorn National Forest offers a wide array of sites for camping. Many sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis and some may be reserved.

Campground and cabin reservations may be made through Recreation.gov at 1-877-444-6777 or online at https://www.recreation.gov. Reservations are recommended for holiday weekends.

Most campgrounds are available for reservations six months in advance of their opening date. Check https://www.recreation.gov for specific opening dates.

There is a good map available at this link, showing where the RV camping sites are.
