Casper’s Most Famous Mansion For Sale At Reduced Price

Casper Wyoming's most famous mansion is up for sale. But not for the price it was listed at just a few years ago.

The asking price is much lower.

The McMurry Mansion, now called the Wyo Manor, built back in 2007 by Mick and Susie McMurry was listed for  $24.5 million back in 2021.

Its eventual sale price was much lower at  $5.3 million.

Coldwell Banker in Casper has the new asking price listed for $7.9 million.

The listing says this place is a "single-family home." REALLY? How big is that family?

As you can imagine there is plenty of land around it and a great view of Casper Mountain.

If you think the outside is impressive, you should see the inside.

But don't expect to just call and get a tour, unless you can show that you have the money to be a serious customer.

Keep in mind that it's not just the cost of purchasing this house, but the cost of upkeep.

Just imagine the heating and cooling bills in winter and summer.

One does not keep a house like this without hiring some help. It's a big project.
