A Wyoming fire in the Bighorn Mountains has become such a major event that Montana has sent Reporters down to cover it.

A video from the area shows it is all hands on deck as local community members do all they can to help their neighbors and support the firefighters who are risking their lives to save local communities.

Montana reporter Ren Wadsworth finds Sheridan County local Jake Keithman and he takes her around to show her how everyone is pitching in to supply what is needed.

Jake grew up in the very areas that are now burning.

The U.S. Forest Service - Bighorn National Forest reports that the fire has expanded to over 70,000 acres with little containment.

According to "Wild CAD," the fire grew by 20,000 acres since the previous day and has prompted evacuation orders for residents north of the Montana state line.

The meeting is to provide an update on evacuations, and firefighting efforts, and to provide information on resources that are available in communities impacted or threatened by the fire.
