There are some wonderful places in Wyoming where you can camp for free.

Not all are advertised, so you'll have to do a little research to find them.

The video below was produced by a couple who loves to explore and camp the free spaces that area available across America.

In this YouTube episode, they end up at over 8000 feet near Pinedale, Wyoming.

They have it all, including privacy and a lake almost all to themselves.

Find out what they discovered on their page One AdVANture At A Time.

Watch the video below to see why they stayed so long and did not want to leave.

If this Boondocking spot had palm trees you would have thought we were at a tropical oasis!!

Instead, we traded those palm trees in for Aspen trees..... and it couldn’t have been more PERFECT!!

In fact we love this spot SO MUCH that we spent a full two weeks at this location!

Pinedale, Wyoming is located on the western side of Wyoming.

There are beautiful mountain ranges to the north and west.

Pick either direction, you can't go wrong.

For this video, our hosts chose to go north, just a few miles and way up in elevation.

There is plenty of BLM land up there and even lakes with picnic tables to camp by.

If you're screaming, "OKAY, BUT WHERE?!"

Don't worry! Just click on this link to see a map of the wonderful campsites.

If you like exploring you'll love this area. You can drive further into this mountain range to explore the Bridger and Popo Agie wilderness areas.
