Firearms and Wyoming are like butter on your biscuit. Over 66% of Wyoming households own a gun, but like we always say, there's always room for more.

Lucky for us, there's a big event coming up on the last weekend of September at the Lock, Stock, and Barrel Auction in Cody, WY. If you love firearms and need another, this auction is going to have over 800 items up for bid.

LSB was started by Spencer Hoglund, a noted firearms collector, researcher and World Champion Cowboy Shooter. Spencer realized gun owners needed an honest and reliable destination for selling their items. LSB has grown to be the largest auction house of its kind and is now proud to call Cody, Wyoming, home.

The auction items come from individuals and estates nationwide, spanning any vintage and in any condition, for liquidation. They will purchase or consign single items or entire collections, with a proven track record of achieving prices that exceed the market value for their sellers.

The auction will be held in person on September 27 & 28 (doors open at 8 a.m. with bidding starting sharply at 9 a.m.), with a preview on Friday, September 26th (12 p.m.- 8 p.m.) at the Cody Auditorium (1240 Beck Ave, Cody, WY). There is no admission fee, and there will be food and beverages on-site.

If you can't make it in person, that's ok, you can still bid remotely via live, online, or phone bidding options.

The lot will feature classic Colts, Winchesters, and Smith & Wessons, as well as an extraordinary selection of antique, military, sporting, and modern firearms, as well as edged weapons, historical gear, and rare accessories.

If you're planning on attending in person, or if you're not going to be able to make the trip and plan to join via the web, you can see all 800+ items in their online Auction Catalog, which has every item that will be auctioned off over the two-day event.
