Driving to see friends and family?

Both hands on the wheel, please.

Wyoming roads will be slick this Wednesday. There will be snow, but not a lot. Just enough to make driving a hazard.

That will especially be true for higher elevations.

Be careful out there. It's a good idea to keep road conditions through WYDOT with you at all times so you can see what you're up against.

Forecast For Flying This Thanksgiving.

The friendly skies will be friendly for flying this holiday week. Mostly.

Heavy thunderstorms in the south. Your change over in Dallas might be delayed and may delay other flights around the country.

Though we can't give you any hope on how much of a mess the airports will be in. Good luck with those crowds and the delays.

Thanksgiving day will be the coolest day of the week, but the weather should be settled by then.

That means you'll be able to enjoy some time outside from Thanksgiving day through the weekend.

Just cool and clear.

Experts have NO idea what we did to deserve this, but here it is. Nice holiday weather.

By the weekend the Wyoming area should be back up to where we were on Monday, with once again mostly clear skies.

That means the trip back home, after this holiday, should be easygoing. Though don't count on that at the airports.

The long ranger forecast doesn't see anything coming our way until maybe the first of December.

Even then, as it looks right now, that colder weather comes in windy but dry, with no snow expected.

But that's the long-range forecast. A lot can happen between now and then. We will keep you posted.
