In Wyoming, it's pretty common to see a road closed to "Light, high-profile vehicles," but the Wyoming Highway Patrol released a video to show exactly why it's so important to heed those warnings and stay off the road when it's too windy for light trucks.

The video is astonishing, but you'll be happy to know that the officers were not in the vehicle at the time it as recorded, and no one was injured. But it shows just how important it is to listen to weather advisories. This incident happened in 2017, near Elk Mountain, Wyoming.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) defines a closure to light, high-profile vehicles as: "In locations where wind gusts are 60 mph or more AND where adequate signage to indicate the limited closure is available." Failure to heed the warning can also carry a $750 fine, imprisonment for up to thirty days, or both.

Be safe, and be careful! It might just save a life.
