This year it will feel like the Bear Trap Music Festival on Casper Mountain is being held in the fall, rather than summer.

The forecast shows temperatures in the mid 60's for daytime highs down in the town of Casper.

But the city of Casper is 5118 feet above sea level downtown.

Casper Mountain is 7,963 high at its peak.

Beartrap Medown, where the concerts will be held, is 7,874 feet above sea level.

That means it's going to be much cooler in the meadow.

Expect temperatures in the mid to upper 50s in the middle of the day Saturday.

Just a little breezy.

But no brutal wind.

It has been raining a lot.

But the chance of showers for Saturday and Sunday are quite a bit lower.

Skies will be partly cloudy.

Bring a sweater.

But also, bring a raincoat and maybe an umbrella, just to be sure.

Rain chances are low, but now zero.

This is Wyoming, you know how fickle the weather is.

Sunday will be just a bit warmer, with temperatures in the meadow in the mid to upper 60s.

That breeze will calm down a bit on Sunday.

Expect fewer clouds and less of a chance of rain on Sunday.

Just imagine that the Beartrap Music Festival was moved to the middle of October rather than the beginning of August.

You still might want to bring that sunscreen.

Being out in direct sunlight, even when it's cool out, can make you burn.

Especially when you're up at 7,874 feet above sea level.
