Smith Drops From Wyoming Congressional Race, Endorses Hageman
When Harriet Hageman entered the race for Wyoming's lone U.S. House Of Representatives seat she did so with the endorsement of former President Donald Trump.
The question was, would that endorsement from the former president be enough to cause any of the other 10 candidates to drop out?
The first one to do so is Darin Smith. Harriet Hageman was happy to post the following message on her Facebook page.
My friend, Darin Smith, is a true tested Conservative. Many of us share the same vision for Wyoming, to elect a tough leader who will defend America First policies in Congress and stand up against leftist politicians and D.C. elitists in Washington. We are stronger together as we fight to take back Wyoming's congressional seat. Thank you Darin, I truly appreciate your support!
The note from Mrs. Hageman was followed by this note from Mr. Darin Smith.
That's one down. Many of the other candidates are literal unknowns in this race. We have a year to go. Some may drop out. One or two more may join the race. A lot can happen between now and then.
